Urgent Plea for assistance




As we are moving towards the 3rd school term of the year and facing bi=
tter weather conditions, we still have children going to school withou=
t warm clothing or even shoes, we have assisted many with our hope dri=
ve to have the needed clothing for this year but as the need grows, we=
 have a lot more to get to, to assist. The children cannot concentrate=
 in class when they are fighting off the cold and the hunger. They wou=
ld rather not attend school when faced with such circumstances.

We urgently need your help to change this. You can provide a lifeline =
to these vulnerable children. Your generosity will supply food parcels=
, school clothes, shoes, and stationery, helping to restore dignity an=
d hope to those who need it most.

Imagine being a child arriving at school, not having eaten since yeste=
rday, wearing threadbare clothes, and clutching an old shopping bag in=
stead of a schoolbag. For many children, this is not just a one-off oc=
currence but a daily struggle. It=E2=80=99s a reality that weighs heav=
ily on their young shoulders.

We believe every child deserves a chance to learn, to dream, and to th=
rive. But for too many, the basic needs of food, warm clothing, and sc=
hool supplies are out of reach. The heartbreaking reality? Some childr=
en are so desperate they resort to taking food from others just to sur=
vive, while others miss out on school to care for their siblings.

Countless families suffer every single day without having food or clot=
hing. Numerous families endure terrible living circumstances. Due to t=
heir parents limited financial means, many youngsters arrive at school=
 exhausted, undernourished, and in extremely poor uniforms. Other chil=
dren are so hungry they've needed to resort to stealing food from othe=
rs; some even steal more food just so that others in their family can =
eat.

We are currently dealing with a large number of child-run houses witho=
ut any source of resources, where the parent or grandparents has passe=
d away, and the household that is left, no longer even qualifies for a=
 grant since the children are still under 18 or are not documented. It=
's strange to think that thousands of children have no place to turn a=
fter having lost a parent or guardian,=20
but that's exactly where we come in.

With our aid, the children are fed and clothed, the family is able to =
expand to the point where our help is no longer required, and we are a=
ble to go on to other families. As an organization, we are having trou=
ble raising the required funds given the situation in South Africa. Du=
e to the increasing number of job losses, we have to include additiona=
l food in our food packages so that the kids may continue to get enoug=
h to eat and maintain their strength.

This is where your help becomes crucial. We=E2=80=99re reaching out wi=
th an urgent plea to restore hope and joy to these children and their =

unable to provide for their children

It works out to +/- R2200 per month for each family's food parcel, whi=
ch includes healthy balanced meals.


It average R 1000 - R1600 for a family of three for blankets and at le=
ast two jerseys and trousers each.
